Send to Kindle

From the department of redundancy department, Amazon just released a Chrome extension called Send to Kindle. There is already a Chrome browser extension called Send to Kindle. And it does the same thing.

Both extensions let you, well, send any article or blog post to your Kindle so you can read it later. Amazon’s new extension is here: Send to Kindle for Google Chrome. The older extension (that has 128,000 users and 546 mostly very positive reviews) is here: Send to Kindle.

You can find out more about the new Chrome extension (how exactly it works, etc.) here on Amazon. Similar plugins for Firefox and Safari are reportedly also in the works. And you can read a review of the extension as it goes up against Pocket (formerly Read It Later) here on paidContent.
