Amazon’s Appstore for Android to Launch in Europe This Summer

Amazon announced today that Android app developers can submit their apps to be distributed in various countries throughout Europe later this summer.

These countries include United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, “with plans for further global expansion in the near future.” Developers can submit their app today by going to the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Portal.

What does this mean? I believe it means an international Kindle Fire. There have been rumors about a UK version of the Fire for a while now, but I think it is finally almost here.
