Using Instapaper With Your Kindle (So You Can Read Blog Posts and Articles Later)

Instapaper is a great free web app that lets you save websites, articles, and blog posts to read for later. You can easily convert all of your saved articles into a Kindle  document.

This is a great little app if you prefer reading on your Kindle over your computer (as I do). It’s also great if you come across articles that you’d like to read “sometime” but don’t have time for right then (as always happens with me).

Below is a video showing how it works. [Click here if you can't see the video.] After watching the video, just head on over to Instapaper.com, sign up for an account (it’s free and takes just a few seconds), and install either the Instapaper bookmarklet (good in any browser) or the Instachrome Chrome extension if you’re a Chrome user.

Nice! Works really well. I hadn’t used it before and now I have tried it, I’ll be using it a lot. I like being able to read things on multiple devices, and I have a Kindle app on my rooted Nook color so I’m able to read articles in lots more places now. Yay!

Great, I’m glad you like it! I also use a browser extension called Kindle It. It’s great for sending a single article or blog post or page directly to your Kindle. It works for Chrome and Firefox, and there’s also an Android app: http://fivefilters.org/kindle-it/
