Amazon is selling millions of Kindles including, presumably, millions of Kindle Fires. This much we know from Amazon. And now we have a bit more data about how the Kindle Fire is selling, though it’s not from Amazon itself.
Millenial Media, an ad network that serves up mobile ads for devices like the Kindle Fire, says that the number of Kindle Fire-based ad impressions on its network are growing steadily at 19% a day. That number has been consistent since the Kindle Fire launched. So from that
Nineteen percent. Every day. For more than a month.
So from the 19% growth in ad impressions we can tentatively assume that Kindle Fire usage and (and therefore sales) are growing at 19% daily
