Amazon Launches its Newest Fire Tablets

On Wednesday, Amazon unveiled the newest versions of their best-selling Fire Tablets – Fire 7, Fire 8 and the Kids Edition.  The upgraded tablets are now thinner, lighter, better and equipped with Alexa Voice Technology.

“We think customers should expect more from their tablet—better hardware, more features, access to tons of great content—but shouldn’t have to pay a premium for it.  Our approach is to offer premium products at non-premium prices,” said Kevin Keith, General Manager, Fire Tablets.

Still at $49.99 and $99.99, the next generation Fire 7 and Fire 7 Kids Edition are now thinner, lighter, with longer battery life and improved display (higher contrast and sharper text).

Choose between 8 GB or 16 GB of internal storage and the colors Black, Canary Yellow, Marine Blue or Punch Red for Fire 7 and Pink, Blue or Yellow for the Kids Edition.

As for the Fire HD 8, Amazon is cutting the price from $89.99 to $79.99.  All features remain the same but for the first time, the Fire HD 8 is now available in Kids Edition which will retail at $129.99.

Both Fire Tablets come with Alexa which gives you quick access to any information you need as well as your favorite entertainment right at your fingertips.   Just press the home button and ask Alexa to play you music, get the news, weather and more.

All upgraded Fire Tablets will be released on June 17th but are already available for Pre-order on the site.

As their introductory offer, you can save 20% if you buy any three all-new Fire Tablets using the promo code FIRE3PACK.
