Amazon Shuts Down its Cable, Phone and Internet Store

In March 2016, Amazon launched “Amazon Cable Store” that featured Comcast’s internet and television services.  After 8 months, the retail site changed the name into “Amazon Internet | TV | Phone” which featured another company – Frontier, a high-speed Internet, video, TV and phone service provider.  But after a year of “experiment,” Amazon finally decided to close it down.

“Amazon is constantly testing and launching new offerings to innovate on behalf of customers,” an Amazon spokeswoman told

Hmm, sounds vague.  The reason why Amazon decided to shut down the page still remains unclear but noted that the bad reviews might be one of them.

“If I could give it zero stars I would.”

“Overpriced garbage monopoly in my area that needs to have competition.”

Well, let’s just hope that Amazon is really working on something bigger and better to offer its loyal customers.
