Amazon just gave its consumers another reason to sign up for Prime.
Today, The National Football League announced that it has scored an agreement with the e-commerce giant to deliver a live digital stream of Thursday Night Football for this year’s NFL season.
“We are continually looking for ways to deliver our games to fans wherever they watch, whether on television or on digital platforms and we are thrilled to bring Thursday Night Football to Amazon”, said Brian Rolapp, Chief Media and Business Officer for the NFL.
According to Recode, the online retail company is paying $50 million for this partnership. That’s a lot compared to Twitter’s $10 million-deal last year.
