Ever wondered what it’s like to work for Amazon?  Well, your kids can with the launch of the e-commerce giant’s newest summer camp, the “A to Z Experience,” which is designed to inspire young individuals ages 9 to 12 to pursue education and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

The STEM camp will give hundreds of students access and a glimpse of what’s inside Amazon’s urban Seattle headquarters and Kent, WA robotics fulfillment center and experience being “Amazonians for the day.”  After the tour, kids will also be able to interact with Amazonians who will share their experiences about their careers in the STEM fields.

“We can’t wait to welcome hundreds of curious students to Amazon.  Whether they walk away wanting to build advanced robotics technology, invent brand new devices, or build applications that make customers lives easier, we hope that being Amazonians for a day helps them feel inspired and empowered to pioneer and invent in whatever field they choose,” said Jeff Wilke, CEO of Amazon Consumer.

The program begins this July up to the month of August.  If you are a parent, school or organization wanting to learn more, visit this page for more information.

Aside from STEM camp, Amazon also offers the best selection of STEM toys and games that encourage kids to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math skills while having fun.  On tomorrow’s blog post, let’s take a look at Amazon’s Bestselling STEM toys at the moment.
