Amazon’s Kindle Fire Sells Out, Amazon Appstore Launches in Europe

Amazon just announced two pretty big items of note.

The first is that the Kindle Fire has sold out. The tablet is no longer for sale, though you can still buy used ones through Amazon.  The Kindle Touch has also sold out. This undoubtedly means that the company is definitely releasing new Kindles—both e-ink and tablet—at its September 6th event.

The other big news is that Amazon launched its app store in Europe. Countries in which it is open include the U.K., Germany, France, Italy and Spain. This could mean the Amazon is ready to launch (or at least announce a launch of) its new tablet in those countries on September 6th, too.
